Each year Shady Hollow Assisted Riding receives requests for financial aid from both returning riders and new applicants. A full year of lessons can cost between $700-$900 per rider. Shady Hollow struggles to raise between $10,000-$15,000 annually to meet the needs of these requests. #GivingTuesday was established as a national day of giving on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to learn more about how you can help. Check out the Donate button on our website for more details.
Join us for our Holiday in the Barn Fundraiser. Enjoy homemade cookies from the Daniel Boone Key Club, area Girl Scouts will host a holiday craft table for the kids, ever flowing hot chocolate, picture oppotunities with our horses, listen to carolers from Daniel Boone HS Choir and of course Santa will be here to read a story with our miniature horses. It's a fun holiday event for the whole family and you can feel good knowing you are supporting an area nonprofit! Admission is $6 per person, children 2 and under are free. All proceeds support Shady Hollow Assisted Riding therapeutic equine activities.
