Private Experiences
Whether you’re a business looking to do a team outing, or simply a family wanting a private educational experience, we have several options to choose from. Please allow 3-4 weeks for scheduling. For more information and scheduling contact us today.
All tour groups have free use of our outside picnic tables and/or snack room. You are welcome to pack a lunch or snack and stay to enjoy the country after your visit. The Schuylkill River Trail is accessible from our property for those of you who would like to take a hike or walk as well. For more adventuresome folks there is also Shady Hollows’ own “Waters Meeting” Trail, a rugged trail around our fields which meanders down to the river and back.

Private Tour: Free Will Donation
This visit is a 1 hour experience which includes visiting the farm, a tour of the barn, arena and feed room. This trip is ideal for both large and small group. The barn and arena area have both steps, ramps and varying material to walk on.

Private Grooming Tour: $20
$20 per person cost is a (1) hour experience which includes visiting the farm, a tour of the barn, arena and feed room. Plus learning how to groom a horse. This trip can accommodate large and small groups. Groups of 4-6 will remain together, groups of more than 6 will be split into smaller groups and rotate between activities.

Private Riding Event: $35
$35 per person provides a (1.5) hour experience which includes visiting the farm, a tour of the barn, arena and feed room. Plus learning how to groom a horse and introduction to riding where they will learn walk and trot on the horse. This trip can accommodate large and small groups. Groups of 3-5 will remain together, groups of more than 6 will be split into smaller groups and rotate between activities.
